Crafting Outdoor Spaces That Last

SM Landscaping & Design is the North East's premier landscaping and architectural outdoor design studio, based in Seaton Delaval, United Kingdom. We transform tired, uninspiring gardens into striking outdoor environments — from full garden makeovers and bespoke patios to fencing, decking, planting schemes, and complete renovations. Whether you dream of a sleek modern courtyard, a family-friendly lawn, or a luxury outdoor living space with a fire pit, our team designs and builds it with meticulous attention to detail.

Our work is built for homeowners across the North East who care about quality and want a garden that reflects their lifestyle. Every project begins with a consultation and a detailed 3D design render, so you can see exactly how your space will look before a single stone is laid. We combine in-house design software with skilled craftsmanship to bring each plan to life, ensuring the finished garden matches the vision we agreed together. From the first sketch to the final planting, we handle every stage of the build with the same care.

SM Landscaping & Design is a family-run business built on a simple promise: honest work, clear communication, and results that exceed expectations. We are proud of the gardens we have created for clients across the region and of the lasting relationships we have built along the way. Our free-quote approach makes it easy to start your project, and our guarantee means you can trust the quality of our workmanship for years to come.
